Felix Anthony Albert

Felix Anthony Albert, a retired All State Agent entered eternal rest on December 21, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born in New Orleans, LA on June 17, 1942, and was a resident of Mandeville, LA. Felix was a graduate of Martin Behrman High School in New Orleans and the University of Southern Mississippi where he received his Business Administration Degree.

Felix was a member of the Happy Few Social Club. He loved to piddle in his garage and was everyone’s handyman. He enjoyed woodworking and made everyone he knew a custom birdhouse. He would visit with neighbors and never met a stranger. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his former spouse, Patricia Richardson Albert; his parents Felix Russell Albert and Marguerite Lay Albert; and his Godmother Eleanor Albert Schexnayder.

Beloved husband of Bonnie Palermo Albert. Loving father of Michelé Espinosa (Mark) and Troy A. Albert (Jana). Stepfather of Gena Curtis (Harold) and Christopher A. Palermo (Tasha). Grandfather of Joshua Espinosa “Best Buddy in the whole wide world”. Step-grandfather of Hailey Lowe (William), Lauren Curtis, CJ Miller, Emma Palermo and Zoie Palermo.

The family would like to give special thanks to: Dr. Farhad Aduli - thank you for the exceptional care you always gave to Felix and always giving us hope and many more years of memories. And to his “sunshine” Gena Morvant, thanks for your support and always being there for anything we needed. To Walker Drake his “padna” thank you for always being there for both of us. Your support and friendship were always so important to us.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will begin from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
