Edward R. Andres, Jr., a native of New Orleans, died on November 20, 2023 at home. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Andres; two daughters, Karen Gruber (George) and Patricia Simon (Norris); grandchildren, George and Jared; and one great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andres. Edward retired from the New Orleans Police Department and Freeport-McMoran.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation and funeral service on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. until the mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
