David Menge Yeomans

David Menge Yeomans passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. He was 33 years old. Beloved son of David W. and Catherine “Kitty” Menge Yeomans. Loving brother of Lorraine “Rainy” Yeomans Faust (William Bryant Faust IV) and Phoebe Yeomans Robinson (Danny Joseph Robinson). Cherished uncle of Catherine Elizabeth Faust, Wesley Bennett Faust, Kaitlyn Grace Robinson, and Megan Elaine Robinson. He is also survived by many members of the Von Lubbe, Menge, Yeomans, and Eastman families.

David was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and served his country honorably in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He began his career with the Jefferson Parish Fire Department in 2005, where he rose to the rank of Operator, and served on the department’s Honor Guard. He was elected by his brothers and sisters to the Board of Trustees for the Jefferson Firefighters Association Local 1374. He was a lifetime member of the Deutsches Haus.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ned Welles Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc., P. O. Box 770, Ponchatoula, LA. 70454.
