Daniel Dowd

Daniel attended Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas graduating in 2010. After graduating Daniel attended Louisiana State University (LSU) receiving both a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting. After completing his masters and obtaining his CPA license, Daniel worked at Deloitte LLP and was employed by Hannis T. Bourgeois CPAs and Business Advisors at the time of his death.

Daniel loved with passion both skate boarding and rugby. At an early age Daniel took up street skate boarding which continued until his death. Daniel was active in the Kingwood High School Rugby club, and also played four years at LSU. Daniel did both activities without fear, and the bonds he made in both have lasted his life time.

Daniel was happiest when surrounded by immediate and extended family. He was a devoted brother and uncle that loved his siblings and his niece. His smiles, laughter, and devotion was second to none and will be greatly missed.

Daniel is survived by father Jody Dowd, step mother Stephanie Dowd, brothers Michael (Micky), Jacob, and Thomas Dowd, step brother Tristan Cortes, sister Kathryn (Dowd) Golsan, brother in law Gavin Golsan, and niece Golden Rose Golsan.

Daniel will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers, and loved ones. He will be remembered for his unbelievable ability to share his love and laughter with everyone he knew.
