Scott was born on October 11, 1977 in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from the University of New Orleans with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. Following Hurricane Katrina, he moved to Oregon where he had a successful career as a software programmer. An avid musician, he enjoyed cooking and brewing beer and had a love for all animals.
Scott is survived by his mother, Carol Norman Fontenot and stepfather, Dr. Daniel Trahant of New Orleans and his father, Allen Ray Fontenot, Jr. and stepmother, Claudia Harold of New Orleans; his brothers Gray Fontenot of Falls Church, VA and Todd Fontenot of Arlington, VA; his uncle William Norman of Vancouver, WA; two nephews, a niece, his dog Blue and his cats Roscoe and Fat Cat.
A memorial will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. The family will receive guests beginning at 1:30pm.
