Charles L. Whitley passed away peacefully at Inspired Living in Kenner on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the age of 91. He is survived by 4 children, Lori Whitley, Lisa Vinson (Raymon), Charlie Whitley (late Kim Whitley), and Lana Manchester (Dale); 8 grandchildren, Monica Nastasi, Kurtis Nastasi (Brittnay), Damien Manchester, Doniven Manchester (Brittnay), C.J. Whitley, Christopher Whitley, and Alexis Vinson; 6 great grandchildren, Mason Henly, Adrien Jimenez, Gabriel Nastasi, Makenzie Manchester, Isabella Manchester, and Madeline Manchester. He retired from Entergy, loved to watch horse-racing and LSU football. In lieu of flowers please donate to stjudes.org. Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by a Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be at Lake Lawn Park.
