Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army and fought in WWII. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Petroleum Geology. Charles was a Mason and lifetime deacon of First Baptist Church of Kenner.
He is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Hazel Earl; and parents, Hattie E. Jones and William S. Earl.
Charles is survived by his sons, Lee Earl (Rachel) and Wesley Earl (Gina); grandchildren, Sarah Hagen, Heather Galloway, Allison Mondello, Andréa Earl and Victor Earl; and great grandchildren, Sullivan Hagen, Sawyer Hagen, Olive Galloway and Astrid Mondello.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 1pm. A visitation will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
