Charles Robert Cottone

Charles Robert Cottone passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the age of 88. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marrita DeRose Cottone; his daughter, Jan Heintz (H.J.); grandchildren Cory Heintz (Samantha), Mandy Heintz (fiancé Jerry Humphreys); and great grandchildren Morgan and Camden Heintz. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerome Cottone; his parents, Lawrence Cottone and Concetta Pellegrini Cottone; and two brothers, Paul Cottone and Joseph Cottone. Charles was a graduate of Loyola University and proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired from Union Passenger Terminal after many years of dedicated service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation which will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124.
