Brian Joseph Lousteau entered eternal rest on April 30, 2023. Brian was born on December 2, 1987, in Metairie, LA, to Linda and Stephen Lousteau. He attended grammar school at St. Christopher School where he received the Cox Inspirational Student Hero Award. He stayed connected with his faith and supported the church as an alter server and the St. Christopher Parish Pastoral Council. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 2006 where he received the Lasallian Distinguished Service Award. At Rummel, he made lifelong friends and loved being a member of the of the Raider Band. He then graduated from Holy Cross College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2012. While in school, he thoroughly enjoyed being a stocker, sales representative, and personal shopper at Bed Bath and Beyond. He loved meeting new friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He then found his love for banking at Metairie Bank, as a teller. As a side gig, Brian enjoyed sharing his musical talents as “BJ the DJ” mixing up tunes for weddings, back yard parties, and everything in between. He ultimately found his work home and family at Loyola University where he was the head bursar. His infectious personality, love for life, helping students and coworkers was evident in everything he did there. Brian’s health struggles started at an early age; even through his sickest days, he overlooked his own suffering to bring happiness and faith to those around him. Through the years of suffering and battling, he had a way of bringing those around him together, teaching how to embrace the challenges of life with grace, radiating kindness and peace. It was this most recent recurrence of cancer that ultimately brought him home to eternal peace. Preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Lousteau, Jr., Phoenix Lousteau, and nieces, MacKynzie and Payton Lousteau, Grandparents, Ralph and Gloria Lousteau, Warren Griffin, Sr., and aunt, Pamela Lee Lousteau. He is deeply missed by his parents, Stephen and Linda Lousteau, siblings, Aimee Berthelot (Joshua) and Emily Lousteau (Joshua), nephews, Nathan, Isaac, and Elliot, niece, Andee and Grandmother, Rosalie Griffin along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
