Arleen received her formal education at Fortier High School in New Orleans.
She was a member of Hoover First United Methodist Church and the Hoover Senior Center, both in Hoover, Alabama.
She was retired after a career in the oil and gas industry. In her leisure, she enjoyed socializing, writing cards to loved ones, board games, traveling, playing Bingo, water aerobics, fine arts, food, collector of trinkets, and she loved Christian devotionals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Rita Charles; sons, Scott and Stuart Randolph; sister, Loretta Mims; and brother, Allen Charles, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her granddaughter, Amanda Biskup (Tyler Biskup) and grandson, Chase Allen Randolph; two brothers, William Charles (Janice) and Dennis Charles (Robin); and nieces and nephews, especially Wendy Siebert, who was a tremendous help to Arleen for the past several years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the chapel service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
