After graduating from Holy Cross High School, Anthony proudly served his country by serving in the U.S. Air Force. He then pursued a long career in Freight Forwarding and Consolidation. Anthony loved fishing and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Spano; his parents, Ida B. and John A. Spano; his sister, Ida E. Spano; and brother, John Aloysius Spano.
Anthony is survived by his sisters, Mary Mullen, Dorothy Vix and Patricia Mullen; and brothers, Charles Spano and James Spano.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass held at St. Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Dr, Metairie, LA on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 11:30am. A visitation will be from 10:30am until Mass begins. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
