Theresa Boudreaux Landry

A native of Franklin and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Landry passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

Theresa was a kind-hearted woman; a loving wife and mother; and a devout Christian. She enjoyed going to church at Faith Cathedral and was a devout parishioner. Theresa opened her heart and her arms to anyone who was in need and she never met a stranger. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchel Landry; children, Elizabeth Reid of Franklin, Joseph “Pajoe” Verdin, Jr. (Audrey) of Franklin, Linda Rogers (Clint) of Jeanerette, Lisa Champagne (Don) of New Iberia, and Edward “Tiger” Verdin (Stacey) of Franklin; grandchildren, Vickie Credeur (Scott), Don Champagne, Jr., (Gayle), Michael Chauvin, Jr., Ashley Terrebonne (Tim), Cheramie Champagne, Cody Chauvin (Jessica), Christian Darden (Blaise), Madalyn Wiese, Tyler Verdin, Lunden Verdin, Joseph “Jojo” Verdin, III., Conner Verdin, Ethan Verdin, , and Ryleigh Verdin; great grandchildren, Hunter Verdin,Michael Bienvenu, III., Tyge Credeur, Alexus Terrebonne, Lad Darden, Wyatt Chauvin, Natalie Davis, Cullen Darden, Walter Darden, and Atlas Massey; and siblings, Alvin Morris Boudreaux, Jr. of Franklin and Elise Boudreaux Bosworth of Scot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband,Joseph Ernest Verdin, Sr.; parents, Alvin Morris and Louise Boudreaux; and siblings, Alcide Boudreaux,Joseph Boudreaux Sr, Charles Boudreaux, Geraldine Martin, Sidney Boudreaux. Edward Boudreaux, and Victoria Boudreaux.
