Nancy was born August of 1957 in Lafayette to Eunice Romero Maturin and the late Antoine Maxie Comeaux and was one of five children to that union. She has been a lifelong resident of New Iberia and loved the people and culture of Cajun country. Some of her favorite pastimes were motorcycle riding with Tavid, shopping trips with the girls, and going to the casino. Animals were a passion as well, and Nancy's heart was filled with love and compassion for her many fur babies, especially Tuttie and Lylik. Above all, Nancy was most proud of her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She leaves a legacy of love and kindness and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tavid Norman; her son, Cory Champagne (Paris); her step-son, Joshua Norman (Jaclyn); her grandchildren, Stormi Champagne, Alicia Redden, Blaze Leger, Bentley Champagne, Hunter Dardar, Alexis Norman, Ayden Norman, Ethan Norman and Collin Norman; her mother, Eunice Romero; her brothers and sister, Howard Comeaux, Wesley Comeaux (Betty), Maxine Tauzin, Mickey Comeaux (Mandy); and her godchildren, Lori Tauzin and Brittni Norman.
Along with her father, Nancy is now reunited with her beloved son, Coty Michael Champagne.
