Jennifer Ann Theriot

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Jennifer Ann Theriot, age 27, at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jude halphen officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm led by Deacon Chris Doumit. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Jennifer passed away at 9:26 am on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Dauterive hospital.

Jennifer was a 2001 graduate of Catholic High School and also a graduate of cosmetology school. She was employed at Theriot’s Grocery for the last several years where she worked alongside her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved playing on the computer. Jennifer will be dearly missed and always remembered by her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, David and Sandra Barrilleaux Theriot; brother, Micahel Theriot and his wife Keely and their daughter Alexa and her maternal grandmother, Velva Suire Barrilleaux all of New Iberia. Jennifer is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Corny Barrilleaux and wife Estelle; Dalton Barrilleaux and wife Jennifer; Percy Barrilleaux and wife Patsy; Caroll Greer and husband Lynn; Paul Theriot; Katherine Doumit and husband Freddie and Richard Theriot and wife Sharon and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Sandy Barrilleaux; Paternal Grandparents, Paul and Jeanette Ernst Theriot, Sr. and her aunt, Sylvia Barrilleaux.

Pallbearers will be Danny Viator, II, Ty Shaw, Brett Doumit, Ross Theriot, Freddie Doumit and Vance Doumit.
