Diane had a lifelong career with the Society Security Administration, serving in many capacities and locations, the last of which was in St. Cloud, Minnesota where she was the district manager. Known for her ability to take on any assignment and challenge, Diane was a leader in the community and a role model to her staff who admired her, turned to her for professional and personal assistance, and strived to emulate her standard of public service. She was also a leader in the Chicago Social Security Management Association where her contributions are yet remembered today.
Diane loved to play dominoes and card games, especially bridge and whist. She enjoyed traveling, and having lunch and shopping with friends. Diane enjoyed celebrating birthdays at the casino with her Aunties Kathleen, Bernadette and Ginny. She especially loved celebrating holidays with her family. Diane was the happiest spending time with her grandsons John, James and Michael and his wife Rochelle and her great grandaughters Jillian and Kendra.
Diane had a deep faith in God and was often found with a rosary in her hand. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Thank you for celebrating Diane’s life with us. Your presence brings us comfort.
