He is survived by his beloved wife Irene, children Tina, Anthony, Vito and Emanuel, grandchildren Nicholas, Thomas, Joseph, Daniella, Ava, Dominick, Alexander, Christopher and Owen, and great grandchildren Jasmine and Marcellene.
Vito was born in Manhattan, NY to Emanuel and Concetta Giachetti on November 4th, 1942. Vito married his high school sweetheart Irene in 1963. Vito was the backbone and the heart of the family. A successful plumbing contractor and beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His success in his career and in life was due to his indomitable spirt and personality. Always firm but fair.
Visitation will be at Higgins Funeral Home at 321 South Main Street New City, NY on Tuesday November 19th from 3pm to 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday November 20th at 10 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish at 128 Parrot Road in West Nyack followed by a burial in St Anthony's Church at 36
West Nyack Road, Nanuet.
