Susan Phillips, Airmont, NY, 71 years old, passed away from cancer at home peacefully on September 10, 2020. Susan was a 42 year resident of the Suffern area. She was born one of four children on March 6, 1949 in Rochester, to Jennie and Vernon Haug. She married her childhood friend Thomas in 1972. Susan played a major role in sales, exporting and business manager for the family business. She enjoyed hiking, camping, boating and ice skating with her husband, son and family dog. She is survived by her husband Thomas; her son Jason; daughter-in-law Jessica and two grandsons Ethan and Noah. She is also survived by her sister Maryann Sutton (Donald); brother Peter Haug (Geralyn “Gerry”); her older brother Alexander Haug (Barbara “Bobbi”) predeceased her in March of 2020. In addition, Susan left many nieces and nephews. She is missed by all who knew her.
