Rita M. Sheehan

Rita Mary (O'Brien) Sheehan, 78, of Stony Point, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx NY after a brief illness. Rita was born November 11, 1941 to Daniel and Helen (Fee) O'Brien in Bronx NY.

She is survived by her four children; Terry (Chris) Abate of CT; Dan (Jill) Sheehan of Stony Point; Jim (Flerida) Sheehan of Stony Point; and Dennis (Melissa) Sheehan of NJ. Rita is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Dylan, Austin, Kaley,Brianne, Riley, Danny, Crystal, Adam and Joe. She is survived by her sisters Maureen Adams, Kathy Flavin (Frank) and her brothers Jim O'Brien (Dorothy), Tim O'Brien (Benita) and Ken O'Brien (Val) and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 13 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at the Michael J. Higgins funeral home at 73 North Liberty Dr, Stony Point, NY.

Church service 10:30am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. 47 Cinder Road Garnerville, NY
