Marie Ciminello

She fell in love and married her soulmate, Dominick, in 1958. They had 4 beautiful children and moved to Garnerville NY from Queens in 1973. Dominick sadly predeceased her in 1977.

Marie retired from Rockland Psychiatric Center where she worked in Human Resources.

Marie enjoyed lunching with friends, shopping, and cuddling with her granddogs; Jackson,Katie, Pinto, Bella, Faye and Milo. Her favorite dog, although she would tell you she didn’t have a favorite, Was Heidi, her first family dog when she moved to Garnerville.

She also loved chatting over a glass of wine, getting her nails done and singing along to Elvis Presley. Her greatest joy however, was her 7 grandchildren whom she loved deeply and spoiled daily.

Marie is survived by her children; William Ciminello, Thomas Ciminello and wife Keitha, Carolanne Sansalone and husband Nicholas, and James Ciminello. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; Christina, Amanda, Alyssa, Michael, Carly, Brianna and William. Her love, laughter and kindness will be missed by all. Marie was predeceased by her sisters, Grace Nicholson and Margaret Savage.

Family will receive guests on Wednesday September 28 from 4p-8p at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be held on September 29, 10am at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point NY, followed burial at St Charles Cemetery In Farmingdale, NY.
