Lisa Rose Jacobson

Lisa Jacobson of Nanuet, NY, 64 years old, passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2024. Lisa was a lifelong Nanuet & West Nyack resident. She was born on March 13th, 1960. She graduated from Nanuet High School and married the love of her life, Richard, in 1982. Lisa was a life member of the Nanuet Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary serving as President multiple times, and the American Legion Leo Ladders Post 130 Woman’s Committee. She also volunteered countless years to St. Aedan’s CYO Basketball and religious education and as a board member with the Nanuet Little League. Although she was involved in a multitude of extracurricular activities her greatest joys in life came from the time she spent with her family whom she loved more than anything. Lisa was an incredible Nana to her grandchildren, a title which she took to naturally with great care and love. She is survived by her son David (Madeleine) and daughter Tara. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren (Conor, Julia, Landon, Brendan & David) and Sisters Joann, Patricia and brother Nicholas. She was predeceased by her loving husband Richard and her parents Nicholas & Mary. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Sunday July 28th from 3-7pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Monday July 29th at 11:15am, at St. Aedan’s Church in Pearl River, NY, followed by Burial at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
