James E. Maloney

James E. Maloney passed away on September 21, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Yonkers, NY on May 5, 1927 to James and Isabel Maloney. He had been a resident of Florida for the past 25 years, prior to that he was a resident of Nanuet for 46 years. James is predeceased by his wife, Roberta Maloney, sister Marion Edsall, and brother Joseph Maloney. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Joel) Plass of Tamarac FL, Maureen (Richard) Berrios of Ariel, FL, Judith Maloney of Brooklyn, Shannon D’Avi of Weston, FL; Sons, Michael of Newburgh, NY, John (Heather) of Tenafly, NJ, James (Bonnie) of Congers, NY , Timothy (Ashely) of Sarasota, FL, and his brother William Maloney (Ginny) of Florida. James is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY on Sunday, Sept. 30th from 7-9pm, and Monday, Oct. 1st from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 2nd at 10am, at St. Anthony Parish, Nanuet, NY. Entombment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
