Chhay Kim Pen of Spring Valley, NY, 82 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 18, 2023. She is survived by her three Sons (Suntharo, Richard, and Chandara) and daughter in-laws (Lyda and Sopharady). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren (Brandon and Tyler). She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Chhom Pen.
She cherished her time spent with family especially with her grandchildren who all have made her very proud.
Chhay was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on May 1, 1941. Chhay married Chhom in 1959. Chhay was the backbone of the family as she supported her husband’s career and raised three children. His success as a police officer and small business owner was because of her love and compassion.
