Theresa Niemiec, 55 of West Hartford, died peacefully, Dec 20, 2019. She was the daughter of the late August and Stanislawa (Buchacz) Niemiec. Theresa was a woman of all smiles despite her disability, cerebral palsy. She was filled with joy and love every day. She had so much love for children and family. There was not a day that would go by she didn’t ask for visits (everyday). She also had the most exceptional care that was provided most of her life by her mother for 50 years. After she passed away her sister Maggie Sgro promised to care for her. To always give her unconditional love like her mother did. This care resulted in her life expectancy to be extended. She was told she’d only live to 18 years old, but was blessed to have 37 additional years due to that care. She lived a life we all wish to have, to have a large family that would forever be by her side. She leaves behind sisters, Wieslawa Puzio of Berlin, Maggie Sgro of West Hartford, her brothers Walter Niemiec and his wife Alicja of Barberton, OH, Stanley Niemiec and his wife Urszula of Wethersfield, Joseph Niemiec of Enfield and sister in law, Helen Niemiec of Newington, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother Charles Niemiec, her brother in law Richard Puzio and her nephews Richard Puzio Jr. and Waldermar Puzio.
