Stanislaw was born in Jaslo, Poland on December 25th 1932. He started his career by serving in the Polish Navy. He went on to receive an education at the Electrical-Mechanical Institute in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Stanislaw served as the Director of Operations at Makrum for 23 years in Bydgoszcz. He later became and educator at the Makrum Technical School.
In 1978, Stanislaw immigrated to the United States and made his home in New Britain, CT. He had a successful career of 18 years at Reno Machine in Newington where he retired from in 1998.
Stanislaw’s hobbies included reading, traveling, and continuing his passion for mechanics. Once he retired, he found his love in gardening and cultivation.
He was predeceased by his wife Aleksandra, son Bogdan and brother Joseph Nowak.
Stanislaw is survived by his son, Dariusz and Krystyna Nowak of Farmington CT, daughter Joanna and Wieslaw (Vic) Koziura of Palm Beach Garden FL, and son Zbigniew (Bill) and Joanna Nowak of Southington CT. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Chris Pilch of Raleigh, NC; Nicholas and Oliva Nowak; Casey, Carolyn and Cathleen Nowak. He also leaves behind immediate and extended family in Poland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, Farmington Avenue, New Britain on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 12:00pm. Friends and family are invited to call on Stanislaw’s family at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain prior to Mass from 9:30-11:30am.
