Rashed Dorence Kemar Belle, 33, was born on November 14, 1989 in Brooklyn, NY to Jan Belle-McCrory and Seyleme Anthony Clarke. Rashed departed this earthly life unexpectedly in is home on December 7, 2022. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rashed later moved to Woodbury, Connecticut with his mom where he graduated from Nonnewaug High School. After graduation, he attended Nichols College where he studied psychology. You see, Rashed always had a passion for the anything related to the mind.
Fulfilling his studies, Rashed worked at Whiting Forensic Hospital as a Mental Health Assistant for the last four years. He enjoyed going to the gym and really loved playing tennis. His favorite color was gray. Rashed was a lover of technology and always had the newest and coolest gadgets. In fact, his home was a smart home! He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially during the holidays. Rashed was an avid lover of music and was always full of laughter. I guarantee if you ever spent time around him, you’d enjoy a good belly laugh. Rashed was a very quiet and reserved person. Rashed was selfless, always putting the needs of others ahead of his own. He was always willing to lend a hand or be of service to those that needed him. Rashed was adored by his family more than he will ever know.
Rashed will be deeply missed and is survived by his mother, Jan Belle-McCrory; his father, Seyleme Anthony Clarke; stepfather, Scott McCrory; five sisters, Sheena Belle, Kimmarie Wolfe, Daniqua Porter, Keisha Bynoe and Julianna McCrory; his brother Joshua Belle; his nieces and nephews: Dakota Benjamin, Mason Caldwell, Markus Wolfe, Skylar Robinson, Ronaldinho Grosvenor and several aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends. And this may be news to some of us, but he was the favorite grandson of Waple Belle, whom he loved dearly. I mean seriously, they were like best friends!
Rashed will never be forgotten but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
