

Pasquale DeStefano entered eternal rest on March 30th, 2025, at 4:40am in Bristol, Ct. He was born in a small Village of Torre Di Ruggiero Province of Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy on November 15th, 1921. He was the son of the late Domenico and Agnese DeStefano.
A beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, who’s personality was one of a kind, who smiled often and laughed out loud. He was drafted into the Military in 1941, where during his service became a prisoner of war for several years. Upon his release, he married the love of his life Bettina Pascale in August 1950 in Pompei Italy in a small ceremony. They welcomed two Daughters, Agnes and Maria Caterina shortly thereafter. Pasquale dreamed of a better life for his family, sponsored through relatives, he made his way to America. Working for Fafnir Ball Bearing in New Britain, CT, His family then joined him two years later, where they resided until 1971 before moving them to Newington, CT. He was a part of the Italian Independent Political Club, in Berlin, CT for many years. When He retired in 1983 from Fafnir after 27 years, he and his wife would travel to Italy for an extended amount of time. His passion for gardening and Winemaking often brought fresh herbs and vegetables in the kitchen and wine for evening supper. He accepted Christ at a young age and was a part of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in New Britain where his faith was unwavering. He will be missed by his loving family and community.
Pasquale is survived by daughters Agnes Jenner (Frank Jenner) and Maria Caterina Phipps (Lee Phipps), 5 Grandkids and 13 Great-grandkids. He was predeceased by his beloved Wife, Bettina DeStefano and brothers, Vito DeStefano and Domenic DeStefano
He is now at peace, and we are comforted with memories forever.
Relatives and friends may call at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 9-10:30am. A mass of christian burial will follow at 11:00am at St. Ann Church, North St., New Britain. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
