Leonard J. Guzzi, 95, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1928 in New Britain where he resided for his 95 years. He leaves his loving wife Diane (Ennis) Guzzi.
Len enjoyed collecting antiques and coins. But I I think he loved the wheeling and dealing part the most and always came out on top. Lenny was a loyal member of the Elks club. He served his country in the army during the Korean conflict.
In addition, he is survived by his adoring daughter, Sandy Shepard and his loving grandsons Greg and his wife Elizabeth and Eric Shepard and his great grandson Cole; Len was blessed to have an extended family of step-children, Adam and his wife Viktoria Seavey, Sherril Seavey, Tammie Geysen; and several step-grandchildren, Donna, Rachel, Tyler, Raymond, Amanda; and step-great-grandchildren, Caden and Julia; He also leaves his devoted brother, Jerome Cicoli and sister Arlene LaRosa Cristino as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Katherine Cicoli, and brothers Alan Jennings and William Guzze
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 9am until 10am at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St., New Britain. Burial will immediately follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain.
