David I Joslyn

David was born on August 20, 1955 in Bristol to Frank and Margaret Joslyn. He was the beloved husband of Christine (Thompson) Joslyn of New Britain.

David loved to hike, kayak, camp and just be in the woods. He loved music of many genres and enjoyed concerts. He was kind, thoughtful and a good listener. He cared about his neighbors and community. He deeply loved his children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife, Christine Joslyn; daughter Rachel Joslyn MacGregor and husband Scott; son, Andrew J. Joslyn; grandchildren Gabriel and Daniel; brothers Frank Joslyn and his wife Catharine, Bill Joslyn and his wife Lisa; sister Laurie Moffett and her husband Stephen. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Daniel B. Thompson and wife Donna, sister-in-law Lynn M. Thompson and his daughter’s in-laws, Robert and Sheila MacGregor.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4PM until 7PM at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Burlington Center Cemetery, Spielman Hwy, Burlington.
