Bogdan J. Wroblewski, 78, loving husband of Izabella (Modzelewska) Wroblewska passed away on Wednesday, October 9th at The Hospital of Central Connecticut with his family by his side. He was born on October 7, 1946 in Rakowo, Poland, a son of the late Kazimierz and Marianna (Zakrzewska) Wroblewski.
Bogdan attended a technical high school in Poland and worked as an inspector of agriculture. He immigrated to the United States in 1986 and settled in New Britain, Connecticut. He held several jobs throughout his life; from construction to factory work. Bogdan loved gardening and being outdoors enjoying nature. He was very outgoing, loved being around other people and socializing. He enjoyed going dancing with his wife and making others laugh. Bogdan was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. He stayed busy with many home projects and when he needed some downtime he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with family. Bogdan was the glue that held his family together. His caring and loving personality will be missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his wife Izabella of 54 years, he is survived by his four children, Bernard Wroblewski (Poland), Zbigniew Wroblewski and his wife Pramuan Wroblewski of Berlin, Pawel Wroblewski and his wife Anna Wroblewski of Kensington, Magdelana Murillo and husband Edinson Murillo of Southington, and 10 grandchildren, Natalia and Damian (Poland), Maya, Makayo, Mateusz, Kuba, Adella, Diego, Mia and Liam.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 9:00am at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 31 Biruta St., New Britain, CT 06053. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 from 4-7 p.m.
