Virginia Elise Green, age 78, of New Braunfels, passed away July 8, 2020 following a short illness. Virginia was born and raised in Houston, Texas, the daughter of John L. Sullivan Sr and Bertha Elise (Tschumy) Sullivan. Virginia married the love of her life, Donald J Green, on February 20, 1960.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elise Sullivan, spouse, Donald J Green, brother, Michael L Sullivan, son in law, Britton M Ware III, and grandson, DJ Green.
She is survived by brother, John L Sullivan Jr and wife Margaret Sullivan, Sister in Law, Marsha Sullivan. Children, Elizabeth Ware, Jim and Donna Scheele, Joseph Green, Brian Green, and Doug and Debbie Allen. Grandchildren, Britani Burns and Patrick Alwine, Nicholas and Katie Green, Britton and Jinny Ware, Jonathan and Shawnesse Ware, Kyle Green, Victoria Green, Trey Scheele, and Zachary Allen. Great Grandchildren, Sophie, Jackson, and Elliott Ware, and John Thomas (JT) Green. Along with many other family members and friends.
Virginia (also known as Ginny, Queen and MawMaw) was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her younger years, she spent her time shuffling her children to various activities. She loved boating and fishing with her husband and family, playing board and card games, but her biggest love was time spent with family. While we will all miss her terribly, we are comforted in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones eternally.
