Mary Ann Farar Rheinlander

Mary Ann Schneider Farar Rheinlander went to meet her Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was born in Schertz, Texas on January 20, 1935 and graduated high school at Schertz-Cibolo High School where she was a member of the women’s basketball team. Her interest in basketball lasted for her entire life. She was an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Agnes Schneider, first husband, Dolan Farar, second husband, Kenneth Rheinlander, granddaughter, Amanda "Mandy" Phillips, and son, Nathan Rheinlander.

She is survived by one brother, Roland Schneider, her children, Darlene Hayes (Tommy), Debra DeCamp (Bill), Doug Farar (Michelle), Tom Rheinlander (Pam), Pam Murphy (Chad), and Cindy Rheinlander (widow of Nathan). Other survivors include nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mary Ann was an active member of First Protestant Church in New Braunfels where she worked with “Flying Fingers” and the grief ministry. She was blessed with countless friends in the local area. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of having known her, especially those in her bunco groups.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 3rd, at Zoeller Funeral Home. After a private burial, a Memorial Service will be held at First Protestant Church Tuesday, August 4th, at 1:30 P.M., with reception to follow.
