James H. Tolson was born on November 6, 1920, the son of Odin H. and Maude M. Tolson, in Lewisville, Arkansas and passed away on June 20, 2010. Jim loved life and people young and old, pets, his speechless friends and most of all his trains.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Odin Jr. and Thomas V. Tolson. He is survived by his wife, Imogene; sister, Madeline Markwood and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 27th from 2-9 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home with the family present from 2-4 p.m. to greet friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Braunfels Church of Christ, with interment to follow in the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:45 a.m.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be given to the Sunny Glen Children's Home, P.O. Box 1373 San Benito, Texas 78586.
