Wesley Don Cox

Wesley Don Cox, 78, of Cove City, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Wesley was born on November 27, 1945 in Kinston, North Carolina to William Wesley Cox and Hannah Marie Broadway Cox.

He was a graduate of ECU, a veteran of the US Air Force, a State Farm agent for 29 years and loved the Lord.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 57 years Gail Daugherty Cox; 2 children, Jeff Cox (Dusty) of Cove City and Christina St. Denis (Josh) of Georgia; 5 grandchildren and sister, Tracy Cox (Teressa) of Cove City.

He is predeceased by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Cotten Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Brian Ipock officiating. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Greenleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in New Bern.
