Wayne Clarke Bishop, age 71, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
He is survived by his sons; Patrick Bishop (Megan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Jimbo Register (Dannielle) of Cape Carteret, NC, Michael Register (Sabrina) of Boone, NC, sister, Jo Anne Tyndall (Brent) of Tallahassee, FL, and five grandchildren.
Wayne served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Retired middle school teacher. He taught for over 20 years at H.J. McDonald Middle School. He enjoyed the beach and was an avid surfer. He enjoyed music, gardening, and his dogs. Wayne was a loving caring family man, and a passionate sports fan, especially his Liverpool football club. He will be missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
