Walter T. Ives, 91 of New Bern, died January 4, 2013 at home.
He worked for 35 years at Cherry Point and he was a member of Croatan Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and a Deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma, one son, Walter Ives, Jr. of New Bern; two daughters, Marie Arthur of New Bern; Deannie Russo of Havelock; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2013 at Cotton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
