Sylvia Earlene Gainey, age 74, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Sylvia enjoyed listening to Gospel music and attending House of Judah in Concord, NC. Family was very important to Sylvia and she enjoyed every moment she spent with them. Often you could find Sylvia baking, loving on all of her animals, and watching her shows.
She is survived by her caring daughter, Waynett Rowe; grandchildren, Joshua Houston (Jenna), Aaron Delaney (Lauren), and Jo Cupplo; and great-grandchildren, Addison Houston and Zoey Murray.
She is preceded in death by her mother, sister, and brother.
