He was a United States Navy veteran, owner of Fulcher Tire of New Bern and former owner of Coastal Tire and Country Biscuit. He was active with the Masonic Fraternity, being past Master of Doric Lodge #568, a member of the Scottish Rite, and active Sudan Chef Crew. He was a voluntary fireman for West New Bern Fire Department. He enjoyed playing golf with friends and enjoyed comic books with “Pickle” being his favorite. He was known to draw his own comic characters. He also enjoyed kayaking on Lake Clermont.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Peggy Ipock Fulcher; two sons Glenn Fulcher and Todd Fulcher; three grandchildren Lindsay Fulcher, Kelli Fulcher and Todd Allen Fulcher, Jr.
Memorial service will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel with Masonic Rites. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Masonic Orphanage, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
