Marguerite "Peggy" Ann Evans

Peggy was born to Joseph and Marguerite DeSena on May 11, 1933.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul DeSena; sister, Clara Lamberta and her one and only love Thomas.

They were married for 64 years and had 5 children, Catherine, Clifford Dunn, Thomas, Kataryna, David, Maria, Marguerite, Robert Moran, Jon and Sonya. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her inlaws Jean DeSena, David Evans, Carol Smith and many great friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peggy graduated from Hunter College (CCNY) with a BA and teaching certificate. She loved to have a house full of company, cook, bake, knit, sew, read, do crossword puzzles and travel.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 3005 Country Club Road, New Bern, NC 28560.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory, 2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560.
