Linda Gaskins Rowe

Linda Gaskins Rowe, 73, of New Bern, surrounded by her family and under hospice care, died at her home on Monday November 7, 2016. She was born March 7, 1943. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Roscoe and Nellie Gaskins of New Bern, and a brother William D. Gaskins of Cove City.

She is survived by her husband Milton H. “Bud” Rowe, Jr., and sons, Brian (Lisa), Greg (Angie), and Steven, step-son, Garland (Lynn) and step-daughter Melinda Jordan. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy G. Hoffman (Dewey) of Apopka, FL, Virginia G. Little (Carl) of New Bern, her grandchildren are Brittany, Blaine, Tiffany, Emma and Luke Rowe, Brooke Ipock (Jonathan), Stacey Newell (Charlie), and her great-grandchildren are Madelynn Rowe, Jensen and Emersyn Ipock.

Linda was a longtime member of Saint’s Delight OFWB Church. Along with her family she ran Rowe’s Quality Cars. Linda’s life revolved around her church and she dearly loved her family.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at Cotten Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Lakeside Chapel, Greenleaf Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Williams officiating.
