Larry A Moore

Larry was a dedicated servant of the Lord at New Life Church where he served as Deacon and Clerk of the church. Everyone that knew Larry could see his passion for life expressed through his faith, kindness & sense of humor.

Larry enjoyed spending time with family, friends, his dog Addy, and playing guitar. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Larry served our country in the 1st Cavalry 101 Airborne in Vietnam. Larry is a graduate of Christian Life School of Theology.

Larry is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 44 years, Dorothy Moore and two children; daughter, Tracy Moore Smith and husband, Owen Smith, of Davidson, NC; son, Scott Moore and wife, Meredith Moore of Cove City, NC, and grandchildren, Ava Smith, Andrew Smith, and Austin Moore, Amber Anderson, Ashley Anderson; great granddaughter, Aubrey.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to New Life Church building fund.

Visitation will be held at New Life Church, 2911 Old Cherry Point Rd, New Bern, NC on July 16th 1pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm, followed by graveside at Greenleaf Memorial Park, New Bern NC.

Arrangements are by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
