09/09/1954 - 06/20/2024
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Harry and Betty Henry, Kevin grew up loving the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, and drag racing. In 1975, Kevin joined the USMC where he gained his name “Hank” and his passion for aviation, specifically the F4 Phantom and the AV8 Harrier. He retired in 1999 from the USMC but continued as a civil service aircraft mechanic until retirement in 2016.
Kevin enjoyed history, working on vehicles with his kids, introducing them to drag racing, hunting, fishing and camping. He was sarcastic, resilient, honest, fair and giving. He lived by strong morals and values which he also instilled in his children.
Kevin met the love of his life, Iris, in October 2002. Iris was Kevin’s greatest comfort and peace. Together they created the life they had been searching for. They filled their time with traveling, spending time with friends and family, feeding the wildlife, and enjoying the outdoors with their grand pups.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Betty Henry.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Iris; brothers, Harry (Eleni) and Hollie; sister, Patricia; daughters, Leann and Anita (Reggie); sons, Kevin Jr (Tracy), Douglas (Ashley), and Ricci (Vladi); grandsons, Jacob, Adam, Caden, Kaiden, Jace, Kevin, Henry; grand pups and several nieces and nephews.
