She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Stanley Orluk; her two sons, Nick Orluk and Chris Orluk; her siblings Michael Phillips of Somerdale, NJ, Marilou Hill of Tiffin, OH and Roberta Green of Edison, OH.
After moving to Massachusetts from Ohio, Joanne was a staple in the Lynn community and a devoted member of the St. Pius V School where she worked for over 20 years.
Having recently moved to New Bern, Joanne was immediately active in her new community and was embraced by welcoming members of multiple organizations including the New Bern Ladies Club, the Newcomers Club and many others.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to organizations Joanne supported including St. Pius V School Endowment Fund (Lynn, MA) and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
