A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory and will be conducted by Pastor Douglas Persall Chaplain of Pamlico County Hospice.
Mr. Moran was born in Baltimore MD on November 9, 1933 to the late Mr. William L. Moran & Anna B. Welsh.
He grew up in Baltimore until he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged after 8 years of service and then moved to Mineral Wells Tx to work with the US Government. After a brief stay in Texas, he was transferred to Cherry Point NC , where he was a warehouse manager until he retired.
He is survived by his wife Sherry of 30 years. 1 son Bill Moran & wife Donna. 2 daughters Tracy Todd & Lisa Moran. 1 stepson Richard Toler & Mary. Grandkids, Ryan Todd & Kat, Rachael Todd, Nikki Moran, Addyson & Scarlett Toler. 1 great-grandson Ethan Todd. 1 sister Pat Mckenna, 1 brother Billy Kotis. Many nieces & nephews and 1 life long friend Walt Trezick of California.
Harry was a family man who loved his wife Sherry & kids. He loved to travel with Sherry. His favorite place to visit was Maggie Valley, NC, where they went many times.
The family would like to thank Pamlico County Hospice for their support. They gave Harry & Sherry excellent service & couldn't have been more caring and helpful.
They would also like to think Dr. Robert Fisher, Mary Gehrki - RN, Jabria Hill - LPN, Shirley - CNA, Tonya - Director, Denise - Social Worker for the care that was given to Harry.
