Catherine Ann Anderson

Catherine Ann “Kate” Anderson, age 88, a resident of New Bern, NC passed away Wednesday August 7, 2024.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday September 7, 2024 at Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Kate was born December 17, 1935 in Baltimore, MD to the late Raymond Albert and Mary Albert.

Kate had a smile that was contagious and to know her was to love her. She brought great joy and laughter to all that knew her. Kate will be missed by her family and many friends from Fairfield Harbor and McCarthy Court.

She was preceded in death in death by her loving husband, Bob Anderson and her two sons, Rick Hodson and Chuck Hodson.

Survivors include her sister, Rosalie Frick and husband Ted, her daughter, Sue Anderson, her son, Rob Anderson and wife Sherri, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Although we will miss her, we can all find comfort in that she is with her lord that she loved with all of her heart and those that have reached heaven ahead of her.
