Bruce Gordon Ward, Sr., 77, of New Bern, NC, formerly of Silver Creek, NY, died on July 8, 2022, following a lengthy illness. Born in Quincy, MA on September 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Gordon and Ellen Ward.
Prior to retirement, he enjoyed working as a bus driver for the Silver Creek Central Schools.
He is survived by his wife Carol, who he married in Dunkirk, NY on August 1, 1964. He is survived by his children, Lorrie, Roger, Bruce (Jennifer), and Sean; sister, Gayle Landry, brothers John, Gordon, and Ronald; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
At Bruce's request, there will be no funeral service.
