Richard "Dickie" C. Borden Jr.

Born in Middleboro, to his adoring parents Richard C. and Joyce (Richards) Borden of Taunton, he was lifelong area resident.

Dickie worked in the maintenance department for Alphabroder. In his spare time, he enjoyed music including playing guitar and drums. He also enjoyed sports, baseball, football, and basketball. Though, his favorite thing was spending time with his family. He was an extraordinary husband, dad and grandpa. The characteristics and mannerisms that made Dickie who he was are spread through each of his children. The laughter and love he shared will carry on with everyone who knew him and they will all miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by five children, Katie Braga of Taunton, Kim McPherson and her wife Jackie of N. Attleboro, Kasey Fumiatti and her husband Matt of New Bedford, Justin Borden and his wife Courtney of Whitman, and Matthew Borden of New Bedford; grandchildren, Jamie, Emma, Quinny, Colin, Ayla, and Reid; a loving sister, Marcia Fishman of Taunton; a brother, Jeffrey Borden of NY; and his sixth kid, Ellie the dog. He was the brother of the late Keith Borden.
