Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Leopold and Leda (Blanchette) Meunier, she spent her summers in Lakeville and winters at her home in the Village of Lady Lake in Florida.
In earlier years, Pauline worked part time at Arlan’s Department Store and Sears and Roebuck Department Store. Her full-time job was caring for her family.
Pauline’s world revolved around her family and many friends whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed hosting parties at her home and massive summer cookouts at the “cottage” where family and friends would gather nearly every Sunday for volleyball, horseshoes, swimming, water skiing, and great food. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Patriots; feeding the slot machines, and in her earlier years playing Tripoli or dancing on Saturday nights with friends.
She is survived by her children, Richard Gadbois and his wife Anna of Yarmouth Port, Susan Morad and her husband George of Lakeville, Bruce Gadbois and his wife Christine of Acushnet and Steven Gadbois and his wife Nickie of Acushnet; her grandchildren Andrew, Brent, Jennifer, Kortney, Kelsey, and Dalton; her great grandchildren Zoe, Emily, Mia, Max, Rowan, and one on the way; sister-in-law, Aldea Meunier of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Maurice A. Meunier.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:00 am in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown. Visitation will be held at St. John Neumann Church from 9:00 am-10:00 am prior to the Mass.
