Patricia J. Saltzman

Patricia J. (Rodrigues) Saltzman, 79, formerly of New Bedford and currently of Fairhaven passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Alden Court after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Henry “Pete” V. Saltzman with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Manual and Elsie (Sylvia) Rodrigues she was a lifelong area resident.

Pat worked in food service at U-Mass Dartmouth for over 20 years. Her number one hobby was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Hoffman and her husband Alan of Lakeville, Sharon Donovan and her husband Matthew of Lakeville, and Derek Saltzman and his wife Tara of Lakeville; a sister, Beverly Brown of Fairhaven; a brother, Arthur Rodrigues of Acushnet; and her grandchildren, William and Maggie Hoffman, Amanda Donovan, Quinn, Lainey, and Shay Saltzman. She was the sister of the late Robert Rodrigues.
