Luis Cabral

Born and raised in New Bedford, a son of the late Joao Cabral and Maria (Carvalho) Cabral of New Bedford.

Luis graduated from New Bedford High School. He worked for Cape Cod Distribution as a truck driver, while also working part-time for Dunkin’ Donuts as their “Jack of All Trades”. A man who worked tirelessly for his wife and children. He was a dedicated, loyal, hardworking Dad who loved the Cowboys and Bruins. A man of few words, he spoke volumes through his actions; Luis was always loving and helpful, putting other’s needs before his own. Luis will always be loved by his family and missed forever.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Jacob Ronald age 10, Emma Lynne age 8, and Abigail Grace age 7; a sister, Anna Cabral of New Bedford; two brothers, Joao and Raul Cabral of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 9 am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a funeral mass at 10 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford.
