He was born in New Bedford, the beloved son of Paul and Nancy Rodrigues.
Cameron was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 2019, where he played hockey on their team.
He had worked for S & F Concrete as a Union Carpenter for Local Union 327. He was also a member of Laborer’s Union 223.
Cameron was the most loving, genuine, kind hearted and generous person who could light up any room he entered. He loved living life to its fullest, always making people laugh and happy. He was a huge fan of hockey and football, loved the Bruins and Patriots and attended many games. Most of all, Cameron loved being in the company of his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his sister, Monica Rodrigues; his grandmothers, Maria Aguiar and Isaura Rodrigues; his godparents, Gilbert and Jennifer Aguiar; his uncles and aunts, Anibal and Victoria Aguiar, Robert and Sue Rodrigues, Rui Rodrigues and Emanuel Rodrigues; several cousins; and extended family near and far. A special thank you to Celly, Steve, Ben and Alice Monteiro who have always been like family. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Anibal Aguiar and Manuel Rodrigues.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. His Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle St., New Bedford. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
